Statement
For the purposes of this Privacy Statement,
"we" means Fairfax New Zealand Limited trading as The Press
newspaper and our two partners with the PressPass Research Panel,
Futurescape Global Ltd and Buzz Channel Ltd (Partners).
As a member of the PressPass Research Panel we
are committed to maintaining your privacy and anonymity. When you
join the PressPass Research Panel your personal information and
responses are treated as completely confidential.
The PressPass Research Panel has partnered with
two companies to make sure your experience as a member is enjoyable
and secure. These two companies, Futurescape Global Limited
(Futurescape) and Buzz Channel Limited (Buzz), are equally
committed to achieving the highest level of privacy. Read more
about our Partners on "About Us'.
When we run surveys and ask for your opinion
your responses are aggregated by our Partners prior to people at
The Press viewing the results. This way, we don't link your contact
details to your responses and your anonymity is preserved.
If we ever want to talk further to panel
members because of interesting statements made in surveys or for
other reasons, our Partners will contact you to get your permission
for The Press to contact you, prior to us being given your name and
email address.

responsibility we honour. Here are the other commitments we make to

our panel members available to anyone without your permission,
except in the rare instances required by law. This includes your

- We will not use your contact details from your
panel membership to try to sell you anything - the purpose of the
panel is to gain insight into our readers and their views on The
Press . Also, we will not provide your contact details to anyone
else who might try to sell you anything.
- We unequivocally promise to hold details of
your participation on the PressPass Research Panel in strictest
confidence.
- We will only use the contact information you
give us to email you regarding participation in surveys, to
validate information you have given, or to provide information on

initiatives. Very occasionally we may use the email address to ask
your permission to take part in other activities.
